This was my 1sts time going to East Side Vet and I loved it, and so did Dolce. The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming. Dr. Murphy was thorough and patient with both me and my dog. I would definitely recommend this vet to anyone.

Sasha is my new girl and yesterday’s visit felt wonderful, safe, informative and educational. It also confirmed what I have come to expect at Eastside Vet having brought my old girl, Snow, for 8 years: Lovely, compassionate, kind, knowledgeable and skillful staff. Appreciate you all.

My partner, my dog and I all really appreciate Eastside Vet! Very caring and understanding people. Every interaction I’ve had with the staff has been positive. I always feel like my dog is being well taken care of. She had a serious eye issue last winter and the vet was great about it, and about her recovery from two surgeries. Jaycie, one of the vet techs, and Dr. Murphy seem to remember my dog in detail, which is really nice given that they must see a lot of them. To me, that’s a strong sign of how much they care about their patients. My dog loves everyone who works there too, and is always comfortable in the clinic. :) highly recommend.

Took my two large dogs here for the first time this morning and had a great experience. Customer service was top notch, from scheduling my appointment, transferring past vet records, and check-in, to meeting our knowledgeable and incredibly helpful vet tech Jaycie. Dr. Girard was one of the best vets I’ve seen - bed side manner was excellent and was incredibly patient with my nervous dog. Happy to have found a great new vet!

I appreciate this clinic. The doctor reviewed previous veterinary records, listened to my concerns. Veterinary Tech was very gentle and patient with our cat. Would recommend this vet.

In 2024, I moved to Rhode Island after leaving a beloved vet clinic in Portland, OR. I was anxious to find a good veterinary practice in Providence and I’m thrilled to have found you guys. Thanks for all your help with Stevie! In addition to the care we’ve received for Stevie, we’ve leaned on Eastside for help with our ailing young cat, Bug. They were able to bring her in very short notice and perform tests before recommending we take her to Ocean State for further testing. They were very helpful in notifying the hospital and as soon as we arrived they took her right back, no waiting as is common at vet hospitals. I’m happy to report Bug has been diagnosed with Cat scratch fever and with the appropriate meds she’s back to her usual, playful kitten self.

EXCELLENT VET!! Our dog has Addison’s and we had the worst experiences with other Providence vets. They tried to up charge us and weren’t organized and very expensive. This vet was excellent. Friendly staff, great vets, they don’t try to upsell you and the vibe is that they’re there to help you — not just make money. So happy we found them! If you’re looking for a vet, go here..

A Loving Practice I recently brought home a new puppy and needed to find a Vet. I walked in one day to get a sense of the practice and was greeted warmly by Christine, the receptionist. She explained they were a women-owned clinic and had excellent, caring physicians. I trusted my gut and made my little guy's first appointment. We were treated by Michaela and Dr. Murphy, who were both wonderful! So loving, gentle, informed, and conscientious throughout our whole visit. There's a LOT of information around caring for a new puppy, who also had an ear infection. I was very concerned about recalling all of the instructions! To my surprise and delight, they sent me an aftercare summary that contained the full recap and detailed instructions - what an awesome deliverable! My own doctors don't take this much time and care with my human health! If you want your pet in the most loving capable hands, head on over to Eastside Veterinary!
